We’ve expanded Forage Rewards to allow you to earn cash back on EBT receipts from any store when you upload them to Forage, furthering our mission of expanding food access by giving EBT cardholders more value when they shop. Rewards you can earn anywhere

You can earn cash back rewards at any U.S. store that accepts EBT SNAP or EBT Cash – all you have to do is take a photo of your receipt in the Forage app. Rather than painstakingly combing through offers on the app, you can save time while you save money – just snap a photo of your receipt, and Forage will do the rest.

Here’s how it works:

1. You photograph your EBT receipt in the Forage app.
2. We verify that your receipt matches some basic eligibility requirements:
   1. Fully visible, including all items and their prices
   2. No more than 7 days old
   3. Shows amount paid with EBT
   4. Clear and easy to read
3. We grant you Forage Rewards that can be redeemed for cash back.

Search for offers at your favorite stores

Forage is constantly working to expand the list of stores and delivery apps where you can pay with EBT: increasing access is core to what we do. Similarly, we’re working to pass on as much in savings as possible through Forage Rewards. EBT cardholders have told us that they want help navigating their options, so we built a way to search in the app to see what cash back reward rates you can get at major stores, including how that differs if you pay in-store or on channels such as Uber Eats or DoorDash.

Easier, faster receipt uploads

We heard from users that waiting hours or days is the norm after they submit receipts in other apps, so we built a flow designed from the ground up to review your submission as quickly as possible. Forage can approve receipts that follow our guidelines within a few seconds after you submit them. That means you get cash back faster, and you only need $1.00 in Forage Rewards to redeem them for a prepaid virtual Visa® card.

You’re eligible to earn Forage Rewards on the subtotal paid with your EBT card, excluding tax, shipping, or other fees. The Forage Rewards amount is calculated based on the reward percentage in effect at the time your receipt is submitted. All receipts are subject to review and approval. Forage Rewards have no cash value until issued and are redeemable only in the form of prepaid Visa® cards (“cash back”). Rewards may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Rewards are issued only after receipt approval and may take additional time to process. Forage reserves the right to modify or terminate this offer at any time.
