If you're shopping at a store that requires a receipt to earn cash back, you'll need to upload your EBT receipt in the Forage app. This guide walks through exactly how to do that, from start to finish.

Ways to add a receipt

There are two ways to start uploading a receipt in Forage.

You can:

• Tap the + button in the bottom navigation bar

• Tap an offer card and select any Receipt Required checkout option

Both paths take you to the same screen.

Start the receipt upload

Once you're on the receipt landing page, tap "Get started" to begin.

You'll be asked how you want to add your receipt:

• Take a photo

• Upload a photo

Option 1: Take a photo

Choose this option if the receipt is physically in front of you and you want to capture it right away.

1. If this is your first time, allow camera access when prompted.

2. Take a photo of your receipt, making sure all key details are visible.

3. Review the image to confirm it's clear and complete.

4. Tap "Submit" when it looks good.

Option 2: Upload a photo

Choose this option if you already took a photo or have a PDF saved on your phone.

1. Tap "Choose file"

2. Select the photo or PDF from your device

3. Review the file to confirm it's readable

4. Tap "Submit"

After you submit

Once your receipt is submitted, you'll see a success screen.

From there, you can:

• Add another receipt

• Close out and return to the app

Most receipts are viewed within 1 minute, but in some cases verification can take up to 1-2 business days.

You can always check the status of your receipt in the Activity tab.

If you're still having trouble

Here's what you can do if you're still having trouble uploading a receipt:

• Make sure you're on the latest version of the app

• Try restarting the app and uploading again

• Contact Forage Support from the app
